1991-On August 11, 1991, at 9:30 A.M. (central time), Rugrats premired on Nickelodeon. The first shown episode was Tommy's First Birthday, but the episode that started it all, the pilot, was Tommy Pickles and the Great White Thing.
1994-Nickelodeon and Klasky-Csupo decided to bring Rugrats out of production.
1996-Rugrats fans recieved a big surprise, new episodes of Rugrats! And, it was in one of these new episodes that Chuckie learned what had happened to his mother.
1998-Stu and Didi got the best fifth anniversery gift ever, they learned they were expecting another baby! And, on November 20, 1998, The Rugrats Movie was released in theaters and Stu and Didi's second son, Dylan Prescott Pickles (Dil for short) was born.
2000-Rugrats In Paris: The Movie was realesed in theaters on November 17, 2000. (Just how popular was Rugrats In Paris? Well, you'll soon find out!) This time, four new Rugrats joined the cast. They are Lulu (Grandpa's new wife), Kira (Chas's new wife and Chuckie's new mommy), Kimi (Kira's daughter), and Fifi (Spike's "girlfriend" and later his "wife").
2001-Spike and Fifi got married in Bow Wow Wedding Vows. The biggest surprise of all, though, was that Fifi had puppies! Spiffy now lives with the Pickles' while Sparky lives at the Finsters'. A special tenth anniversery episode, All Growed Up was released.
2002-Three more new faces were introduced to Rugrats Fans. They are, Taffy (the Rugrats new babysitter), Spiffy (one of Spike and Fifi's puppies)and Sparky (one of Spike and Fifi's puppies). (be sure to check out the picture of the proud canine parents and their puppies below! Sparky is the brown puppy next to Spike and Spiffy is the purple puppy next to Fifi!)
2003-Hold on to your diapies, babies, because it's going to be one big, exciting year! Pre-School Daze and All Growed Up, the two Rugrats spin-offs, will premire. As if that weren't enough, in July, the babies are hitting the silver screen once again! Yes, that's right, the Rugrats are starring in another movie. This time, however, they are not starring alone. Just seven months after their own silver screen debut, The Wild Thornberrys will be joining America's favorite babies in their third silver screen adventure, The Rugrats Meet The Wild Thornberrys! (The Wild Thornberrys Movie, in case you're wondering, had it's world premire on September 8, 2002, at the Toronto Film Festivel. It will open to the general public on December 8, 2002, at theaters everywhere.)
